And there we have it. Vol. 1. I’m gonna stop this series for now. There’s only what? 4 entries with the 5th one releasing this month. That’s wayy too short to start reading yet. I’ll be done with it in a week if I’m serious. I’m sure I’ll be disappointed at the end of it too. I like drawn out stories, okay. Oh well, let’s hope it finishes before I’m old!
The writing wasn’t surprisingly good but it was certainly my type. Everything was so clearly explained. The worldbuilding was pretty damn good too. An addition I would’ve loved was for the writing to be a but more… poetic? Everything was so on point. If there were a bit more flourish. I would’ve definitely loved this more. The story was pretty interesting. So much so, it could’ve even carried itself. And I think, that’s just what happened most of the time. I wasn’t impressed by the writing. It could’ve been wayy better. But the author sure knew how to setup a scene and crack a joke or two from the sidelines.
