This is the anime equivalent of a shitpost.
All expectations blown away. This was fun af. It took a few episodes for me to get used to the structure. At first I hated those powerpoint like slides at the middle of each skit. Coming right off of a story driven story, this episodic or rather skit based runtime felt a little off. I’m glad that the show just kept getting better and better. With the jokes building on top of each other perfectly. Near the end, I was laughing out loud to almost all of the jokes. Mainly because they built on top of each other perfectly. Bringing back old jokes as references even to enrich current ones. Thats genius. Hell the whole dialogue is fucking genius.
Contrasting the comedy, the few skits that were actually serious hit a lot harder. Especially because of how different the vibe was between them and the other 99% of the show. They were good breather eps. I’m honestly glad this show didn’t turn into a romcom. Whatever formula they’ve got, it works and they stuck to it like glue.
Newspaper girl has to be one of THE characters of all time. I hated and loved her at the same time.
