One of the most charming shows I’ve ever watched. I’m usually the type to not like chibi style shows. Even cutesy ones. But somehow this won me over. This just as all the elements to it i guess. A really interesting premise. A fun set of characters. Some really heartfelt moments and some godly background art to top it all off. The story was just so good. Even though it had a lot of cliched happenings, the show really shined with how they all ended up. Especially with the childhood friend thing. I sort of knew where it was going from the very beginning, that that did sort of happen, but i love how wholesome the whole scenario was. I can’t lie, I cried quite a few times throughout its run time. It gets so relatable at times that its hard to keep those tears from just gushing out. And in a good way too, because i love how kind and supportive everyone is in this show.
I really think the VA is one of the reasons why this show really made it. I don’t say this often about shows but whoever voiced monica really understood the assignment. I haven’t been this enamored by a character in a while. A protec at all costs kinda feeling to put it into words.
