This is my second time giving this show a try. I tried watching it a while back and I just couldn’t finish even the first episode. Because there are things I absolutely loathe about this show. Like how some characters just don’t seem to act like how they’re supposed to. It feels like there are contradictions all over the place. But no matter how much I complain, I just can’t say that this is a bad show. The one scene that truly won me over was when the guy parried the dragon. That whole sequence of Noor being propelled at the speed of sound to him deflecting the Godzilla breath was so funny that I was tearing up unable to stop laughing. That would never have happened if this show did what a normal show would have done. It stuck to its weird ass story and stuck to it. It knows it’s not trying to be peak fiction so it’s trying to be as entertaining within those limitations and I respect that.
